Your records live in a professionally managed cloud database — not on a computer in your hotel and not on anyone’s laptop. It runs on PostgreSQL, the same database technology used by banks and large institutions worldwide, on major commercial cloud infrastructure, with encrypted connections and encrypted storage.
Each hotel’s data is separated at the database itself, so one property can never see another’s records — your guests, bookings, takings and visitor logs stay private to your hotel. Every person signs in with their own login, and sensitive actions are recorded permanently in a staff activity log that cannot be edited or erased. No — never. Not one naira of guest money passes through OTTO. Your guests pay you exactly as they do today: cash, your own POS terminal, or a transfer to your own bank account.
