What OTTO is

• Product: OTTO, a cloud hotel management system (a property management system, or PMS) that runs in any web browser — phone, tablet or computer. Nothing to install.
• Made by: Otto Technology Systems Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria (RC 9705446).
• Who it is for: Independent hotels, guest houses and small hotel groups. A 12-room guesthouse and a 90-room hotel use the same complete product.
• In daily use: OTTO runs a working hotel in Warri, Nigeria, seven days a week — front desk, outlets and takings.

What it does

• Front desk & reservations: One live room board and booking calendar for direct, walk-in, phone and online bookings. Double-bookings are blocked.
• Online booking: Each hotel gets its own booking page. Guests pay the hotel by transfer to its own account or at the desk — never through OTTO. No commission.
• Hotel website: A free website for every hotel at yourhotel.otto.com.ng, built from the rooms, photos, prices and menu already in OTTO.
• Self check-in: Guests scan a QR code, confirm their booking and check themselves in, with nothing to download.
• Guests & debts: Guest records searchable by name or phone, guest flags, and every balance and IOU recorded until it is paid.
• Outlets & POS: Itemised tills for the bar, kitchen and mini-mart, with tabs, payment methods and a daily sheet for management.
• Stock control: One catalogue, stock issued to departments with who collected it, a count at every till handover, and expiry warnings.
• Money: Expenses, refunds and a daily cash-up: takings in, expenses out, and exactly what is left.
• Staff: Separate logins and roles, an on-duty picker on a shared front-desk login, and a staff activity log that cannot be edited or erased.
• Several hotels: One login can hold several properties, each with its own records and its own subscription.

Pricing

• Starter, 1–20 rooms: ₦25,000 or $25 a month (₦250,000 or $250 a year)
• Standard, 21–50 rooms: ₦45,000 or $45 a month (₦450,000 or $450 a year)
• Growth, 51–100 rooms: ₦75,000 or $75 a month (₦750,000 or $750 a year)
• Over 100 rooms or a group: A plan tailored to fit.
• Every plan: Every feature, with unlimited staff, guests, bookings and outlet tills. No commission on bookings.
• Free trial: 14 days, no card needed.
• Billing: Hotels in Nigeria pay in naira through Paystack; everywhere else in US dollars, set up with the hotel. Cancel any time.

Where it works

• Languages: English and French.
• Countries: OTTO knows 129 countries: their currencies, phone number formats and time zones. Each hotel’s day runs on its own time zone.

What OTTO does not do

• Guest payments: Guests never pay through OTTO. OTTO records payments; the money goes to the hotel.
• Booking sites: OTTO does not sync with Booking.com or other booking sites (it is not a channel manager).
• Offline: OTTO needs an internet connection. It is light on data.
